Winter 2011/2012
I've been paid one of the ultimate compliments by fashion photographer and "occasional artist" Sordesco, who drew this portrait of me digitally. I'm so grateful and flattered, and on top of everything else, he has granted me the right to sell or donate a portion of his limited edition, signed reproductions here on my website.
In the interim, some of his work (including this portrait) will be on display until the end of February in his own exhibit in Western New York.
If you're interested in purchasing one of these signed portraits, or for donation to a charitable cause, please contact me by email or snail mail:

You'll notice that, though I work in both the US and Canada, I have a US postal box. This was done as a courtesy to make it less expensive for readers and clients in the US to send me mail. I hope it helps! :)

I'm A.J. Bray: disabled model, sexuality coach, writer, and author.
As a proud member, I believe wholeheartedly in the untapped diversity of the disabled community; something which I choose to revel in every single day of my life. I was born with a severe deformity that was later compounded by failed surgeries, internal hardware, juvenile-onset poly-osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and rheumatoid arthritis. Pain is part of my life, but not one on which I choose to dwell. I would much rather wreak havoc on the mainstream paradigm with my extroverted personality, killer eye contact, and zest for life. I am a woman first, a precocious writer of non-fiction and fiction second, a flirtatious model next, and somewhere in there, I'm a wheelchair user, foodie, and utter wine nerd. I don't let any one aspect dominate my life, but I don't seek to deny any of my attributes, either. I am whole. I am diverse. And I am adventurous. THAT is what I choose to define me...
...and that is what will keep me strong and sexy.
*Please bear with me as I get my new info, pages, and other bits and bobs up on the site. Thanks for your understanding!*
